Beautiful girl blogger about preconceptions about solo travelers

Alyssa Ramos is young, beautiful and travels around the world on her own. The 27-year-old American from Los Angeles, meanwhile, visited thirty two countries on six continents. A dream life, except that she is constantly spoken about the fact that she do all that traveling on her own. She is the presuppositions fed up and wrote in a blog post the top 3 of incidents that annoyed her the most.

1. I am not a prostitute

"A pretty girl, all alone in a foreign country, must be a prostitute. When I wear makeup or anything that can be seen in a dash skin - or leave a bikini - people staring at me constantly, as if I'm waiting for my next customer. It is not only annoying to hear them whisper, but it is very disappointing that a young, pretty girl can not travel just to travel. "

2. I do not travel to recover from a breakup

"While traveling after a broken relationship may well be a good idea, yet it is not the reason why I travel alone. It is noticeable that people often assume I am only go because my relationship would be stranded and I'm on the way to this process. They assume that a 27-year-old will have to have a steady relationship. But we are in 2015 and the only fixed relationship I have been moving around the world and I do it well on my own. "

3. Yes, I have personally paid for this trip

"From the many comments on social media, I can deduce that many people wonder who pays for all that? Well the answer is simple: I am Alyssa and I have a job like you, but I make the choice all my money on travel spend. I have no secret sugar daddy, I never asked my parents for money, started no crowdfunding campaign and won no contest. I paid for everything. It is not because I am a beautiful girl that I am able to earn my own money and save it instead of going shopping. I even have a motto: I'd rather buy a plane ticket or a handbag .

For this bizarre reason were invented cornflakes

Do you think that cereals were invented to start the day full of energy, as it says in the commercials? Nothing is less true.

Dr. John Harvey Kellogg created the cereals at the end of the 19th century as a remedy for masturbation. Dr. John Harvey Kellogg had not really understood everything that tended towards sex. He and his wife slept in separate beds, the marriage was reportedly consummated and their children were adopted. While he found objectionable sex, he considered masturbation especially disgusting. So he orphaned masturbation include epilepsy, blindness, stiff joints and a general poor development. In his lifetime he also developed all kinds of methods to the 'dirty' thoughts to counteract such as the burning of the clitoris with acid and the foreskin of the penis sewing with wire.

A little less cruel was his idea to launch a breakfast that had to be healthy and fast, but also had to have an anti-masturbation effect. First he experimented with the now trendy granola with yogurt and colonics, but eventually figured out what we now know as cornflakes. Kellogg assumed that meat, spices and fat were aphrodisiac and therefore developed the corn flakes.

Family Feud

For the production of cereals John Harvey went to work with his brother Will, who was an insidious businessman and later was the first that would add sugar to the cereal and Kellogg's empire would expand. It made for a decades-long feud between the two brothers. Of the original intentions of John Harvey so nothing came home. All of which will bowl of cornflakes in the morning may never be the same now.

Beer is healthier than wine

A glass of wine from time to time is healthy, so researchers have claimed. But it turns out that beer has the same health benefits and even a greater benefit than wine.

Nutrition expert Patrick Mullie collected all kinds of research data to determine how harmful or healthy beer is for us. And guess what? Moderate beer consumption is as healthy as moderate wine consumption. Those who never drink a glass at a higher risk of cardiovascular disease than those who drink one to two glasses per day.
"Why then is mainly about wines reported and almost never about beer? That's because wine is about twice as much scientific research conducted over about beer, "says Mullie against the VTM News.
What many forget is that beer additionally has an even greater health benefit. For 100 ml beer you have to count 44 calories while you're there for the same amount of wine 75 calories.
"It is unfortunate that one of our Belgian top products where we may be justly proud of when it comes to a healthy lifestyle is not so domestically. There is still much work to be done to strengthen the proper knowledge of beer to the general public, "says Mullie.
