Today, August 9, is Singapore’s National Day and on Google’s homepage the company from Montain View marks Singapore’s 50th anniversary and in commemoration of the event, called SG50, with a special Doodle!
The Doodles have been submitted by 8-year-old Moh Journ Haydn from Beacon Primary School. His Doodle (image on top) was called ‘Next 50, our first world Singapore’.
“The doodles that were submitted during the course of the Doodle 4 Google competition promise an exciting future for Singapore. I was particularly moved to see an eclectic array of whimsical expressions, full of innocence yet ambitious at the same time, from the creative minds we can count on to lead our future,” said guest judge, Winnie Tan, Lecturer, Department of Design and Media, NAFA.
This is the future of Singapore!
