No appeal decision not to extradite Roman Polanski to the United States

Roman Polanski, who was accused in 1977 of having sex with a child under 13 during a photo shoot, then served 42 days in prison in the United States, and later left the country for good. Since then, the authorities have requested the extradition of the famous filmmaker.

"Speaking for Polanski, I can say I feel great relief that this case is over. And this means that it will be possible to start planning Polanski film in Poland, "said Jan Olszewski , a lawyer for Polanski, Reuters reported.
