Leonardo DiCaprio arrived in Ushuaia for his new movie

The actor is in the country to record a scene from his latest film, The Revenant.

Leonardo DiCaprio arrived in Ushuaia to finish recording a movie that began filming in Canada but had to change location after they ran out of snow. 

The actor, led by the Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (Oscar winner for Birdman), arrived in the country with a delegation of over a hundred people and settled in the south, although the place where he is staying is handled in strict confidence. 

In the film entitled The Revenant, DiCaprio plays Hugh Glass , a man who lived from 1780-1833 and is known for his prowess in the northeastern United States. Glass is caught by a bear is wounded. 

He is abandoned by a group of hunters who believe dead and has to survive through a harsh winter. 

Although most of the film was shot in Canada, it is a final scene that will be filmed on Olivia River. "We had to broaden its channel prior to the shots can be done better," said a source at the newspaper Perfil. For two weeks, location managers and special effects also planted artificial pine, which aroused discomfort and criticism from locals to modify the environment.
