Prince Harry share special moments of his trip to South Africa

Prince Harry's tour of Africa has left a deep impression on the young man, why have decided to share some of the snapshots that he made last July.

The grandson of Queen Elizabeth visited last Thursday the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Centre of Memory in Johannesburg (South Africa), where he gave a speech. The young man of 31 was accompanied by Graca Machel, widow of the late president.

"I've been fortunate to meet Madiba for a few years and have treasured the memory ever since," said the member of the British royal family. "He worked tirelessly to protect all that is special in this beautiful country, for all future generations," added the brother of Prince William.

In honour of the South African leader, Harry gave some very special images that appear at the South Pole hanging a South African flag. This trip the son of Prince Charles has become a life experience, just by his presence in centers and foundations such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu, also actively participating in some animal conservation projects.

Prince Harry has released this personal photo taken during his summer visit to southern Africa. Here Prince Harry shares his story behind the photograph... "I was working with Dr. Mark Jago and Dr. Pete Morkel in Namibia. Some countries are de-horning small populations of rhino to deter poachers from shooting them. It is a short-term solution and surely no substitute for professional and well-trained rangers protecting these highly sought-after animals. De-horning has to be done every two years for it to be effective and can only realistically be done with small populations in open bush. My initial task each time was to monitor the heart rate and oxygen levels and help stabilise them as quickly as possible. My responsibilities then grew to taking blood and tissue samples and the de-horning itself."
