"All my experiences, even negative ones, taught me something important about life," Winfrey said in an official announcement.
"I'm still learning, and I hope that my story will inspire others to live to the fullest expression of yourself."
According to reports the Hollywood Reporter, the contract signed by Oprah also includes the launch of a publishing less - not yet named - that will release at Group Macmillan a literary genre devoted to essays. The presenter has already co-written five books, including "What I Know for Sure" - a collection of articles taken from the magazine "O" of which the star is the founder.
And in a recent interview the 61 year old gave fans a taste of what they can find in the biography. In fact she told of being raped at 14 by a member of the family, and she was pregnant. But the baby was born prematurely and died in hospital.
