The second season of the fantasy drama series Outlander will be set mostly in Paris, to where Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) heading at the end of the first season.
When you get there, living with a cousin of Jamie Fraser Jared (Robert Cavanagh), a wine merchant of success and a strong Jacobite.
The series will feature other new faces, as Le Comte St. Germain (Stanley Weber), "a wine merchant and a member of the French court" described as "a bit of a villain," and Alex Randall (Laurence Dobiesz) the younger brother of main antagonist Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). Lionel Lingelser also appear, as King Louis X V.
The new season, which is expected for release in the spring of 2016, will continue to Jamie and Claire in his attempt to stop the Jacobite uprising to curry favour in the French court so that they can thwart funding for the Jacobite rebellion of Bonnie Prince Charlie.
