The actor starred in the program Inside the Actors Studio,  Live and explained his role as  Walter White  as he prepared some of the scenes. He was asked by one in particular, when his character looks like  Jane, the girlfriend of  Jesse , he drowns in bed on his own vomit without him doing anything to save his life.
"Walter (White) Jane heard coughing and goes where it is because it is part of human reaction, but before reaching stop and think: 'Wait a minute, is a drug addict. Jesse got the heroine, is going to kill, it's better if I do nothing" Cranston said about the actions of his character in the scene.
"But she is still a young, young enough to be my daughter. Then I see the face of my own daughter in place, I do not wanted or planned it, "he added the actor tearfully recalling how that scene filmed.
In the time that Walter is aware that Jane is dead he begins to mourn. The actor also said he had not planned to mourn but to think that this girl could be his daughter, could not help getting excited in the same way that happens when recalling the scene.
