David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son says he doesn't want to reconcile with his parents

 Brooklyn Peltz Beckham said she does not want to reconcile with her famous parents, former soccer player David Beckham and former Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria, in a social media post in which she recognizes a long-rumored family breakup.

Peltz Beckham posted on Instagram on Monday, accusing his parents of trying to "ruin" his marriage to the American heiress and actress Nicola Peltz, daughter of businessman Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz.

"All my life, my parents have controlled the narratives in the press about our family," Peltz Beckham wrote, adding that his parents have been "trying incessantly to ruin" his relationship with his wife, since before his wedding in 2022. He adopted the compound surname after the wedding.

"I'm defending myself for the first time in my life," Peltz Beckham wrote to his 16.3 million followers in an extensive statement published in six stories on the social platform.

Rumors of a dispute between the Beckhams and their eldest son have been circulating for years, with tabloids publishing headlines about the conflict.

CNN has tried to contact David and Victoria Beckham for an answer.

In his statement, Peltz Beckham referred to several incidents that apparently contributed to the breakup.

"My mother canceled the making of Nicola's dress at the last moment, despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently look for a new dress," she wrote.

Peltz wore a Valentino haute couture dress with a square neckline and a luxurious tail. Her stylist, Hollywood costume designer Leslie Fremar, told the British edition of Vogue magazine at the time that creating the dress was the "ultimate haute couture experience," which required several trips to the brand's headquarters in Rome.

Victoria Beckham launched her homonymous fashion brand in 2008, which she has regularly presented at the fashion weeks of London, New York and Paris.

Peltz Beckham also said that his mother "went to the extreme of calling me 'evil' because Nicola and I decided to include my nanny Sandra and Nicola's Naunni on our table, since both did not have their husbands."

He added that his mother "appropriated" his first dance with his wife, when they called him to the stage where the dance with his wife was scheduled.

"On the other hand, my mother was waiting to dance with me," Peltz Beckham wrote.
"My wife has been constantly disrespected by my family, no matter how much we have tried to unite as one."

Peltz Beckham said that, despite the incidents, he and his wife traveled to London for his father's birthday, in apparent reference to David Beckham's glamorous 50th birthday party last year. But, reportedly, he and Nicola were not at the event.

Peltz Beckham said that he and his wife "were rejected for a week while waiting in his hotel room trying to plan quality time with him."

He assures that his father "rejected" all his attempts "unless it was at his big birthday party with 100 guests and cameras on every corner."

"When he finally agreed to see me, it was on the condition that Nicola was not invited," he wrote. "Later, when my family traveled to Los Angeles, they refused to see me completely."

Peltz Beckham continued: "The narrative that my wife controls me is completely the other way around. I have been controlled by my parents most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since I moved away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared."
