The actress, known for starring in the "Fifty Shades" trilogy, arrived in the country as part of her promotional tour for what is the fourth film in Sony's Spider-Man universe, which tells the story of a female superhero who gains powers. after its interaction with the venom of a powerful spider.

"Hello, thank you for being here, I'm sorry for my Spanish, it's terrible," Johnson apologized to the audience of guests, fans and journalists who saw the film one day before the national premiere.



"I'm so happy to be here tonight, I have a lot of love for Mexico City and enjoy the movie," added the actress.

Present with her were the director SJ Clarkson and the Mexican actor José María Yaspik, who is also part of the cast, playing Santiago, the leader of a group of human spiders who are in charge of protecting the protagonist.

"What Dakota says about having a special love for Mexico is absolutely true because we talked about it many times while we were filming this, so she must be very happy to be here," Yazpik confirmed.

Previously, the "Narcos" actor celebrated that the film has a message of female empowerment and women as protagonists, in addition to Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor and Isabela Merced co-star.

"It's fair to me that those directing the film are women, I don't know if a film of this type and in this tone had ever been made," said the actor.

"Being in this movie meant a lot of learning for me, working in a forum full of green demons was something new for me," he added.
