The time Matthew Perry "destroyed" Salma Hayek with his criticism

The film "An Impulsive and Crazy Love" brought together Salma Hayek from Veracruz and the late Matthew Perry in 1997, something that for the latter was not a good experience.

In his memoir "Friends, lovers and the big terrible thing" he suggests that the American did not respect the vision of the Mexican, who at that time was fighting to have a name in the Hollywood industry.

The romantic comedy about a young couple may show chemistry between both actors, but Perry made it clear in his work published last year.

"His observations were not always useful," Perry noted: For example, this was the case in a scene in which the characters are in love.

"She suggested that we not look at each other and instead look at our future together. After listening to this nonsense for about 20 minutes, I finally told her 'Listen, Salma, I'm going to tell you that I love you in this scene, you can look wherever you want, but I will be looking at you,'" reads his memoirs.

Notwithstanding that memory, Perry considers "The Last Chance" probably his best film, directed by Andy Tennant.

Since then, Hayek has not taken a position on the matter. Today he has not said anything on his social networks about Perry's death either.
