Lead actress recently announced he would leave the series X - Files after the eleventh season.
The creator Chris Carter, spoke about the decision of the actress.
Carter was answering several questions to fans on Reddit , and one of them wanted to know your opinion on the announcement of Anderson who plays agent Dana Scully from the premiere of the series in 1993.
The author seems to have accepted the decision of Anderson and indeed doubt that the show can go on without her.
" For me, the program has always been Mulder & Scully. So the idea of doing the show without it is not something I've had to consider.
Does your character received a proper goodbye? I think you'll want to sit and watch the end of the series very carefully , " says the author.
With these words he confirms again this season X - Files could be really final. Even the other star, David Duchovny has said that the end of the eleventh which will close the series so that the new release (which reaches FOX 8 January) occurs more than ever, as a farewell.
Will always love the X-files but it's time to end it.... these last seasons would never be able to do the same effects as those back in 90's which is sad cause I didn't watch the X-files back then but well, that's life... love you, Gillian.... keep being a great actress that you are....
