The actress joined the comedy FOX during its fifth season when she was signed to replace for a while Zooey Deschanel (who was on maternity leave). Deschanel will remain the protagonist, but Megan Fox will accompany her in several episodes since its the plot of his character ended last season.
Fans should remember how at the end of the fifth season, Nick (Jake Johnson) informed Jess (Zooey Deschanel) who intended to spend three months in Big Easy with his kind denovia Reagan (Fox) while she was joining her new job.
However, when Nick reappears in the loft at the start of the sixth season, it is not expected to Jess receive him with open arms.
The return of Fox to the series will occur late in the sixth season since the actress soon give birth to her third child with her husband Brian Austin Green.
