The sixth season of 'Game of Thrones' reveals the fate of Jon Snow

Millions of fans of the series 'Game of Thrones' discovered Sunday night, after ten months of waiting, what happened to Jon Snow, during the broadcast of the first episode of the highly anticipated sixth season.

In the last episode of the fifth season of the HBO fantasy series, breaking audience records, Jon Snow, one of the main characters, was stabbed and left for dead.

This image, with which the series was dismissed in June 2015, to intense discussions had resulted in social networks. Some claimed with certainty that Snow was dead, others imagined a different outcome.

The #GameOfThrones (name of the series in English) label was global trend for several hours on Twitter after the release of the episode 'The red woman' on Sunday night in the US.

Fans wondered if Melisandre, the red priestess, played by Carice van Houten, could resurrect John Snow. The series, based on the novels of George RR Martin, tells the life of noble families struggling to take power. More than 20 million Americans follow each episode.
