It's official: King Kong vs. Godzilla arrive in 2020

It was a fact, but Legandary Pictures has made ​​official. The studio has officially announced that the film will gather Godzilla and King Kong hit theaters in 2020. Legendary work closely with Warner Bros., but will maintain its agreement with Universal Pictures, which seems to have decided to step aside around this matter. 

The idea is to create a shared universe with these and other monsters.

As said, the first step is to release the film Kong: Skull Island , Jordan Vogt-Roberts, which will arrive in 2017, and then the sequel to Godzilla (2014), which will redirect Gareth Edwards and released in 2018. With these films and this film together, build this universe, where one of the connecting links will Monarch, the secret organization which was following the steps in the film Godzilla Edwards. 

For now, it is unknown who will direct the film and actors involved; but there is still much time for that.
