Keith Richards , legendary guitarist of the Rolling Stones, who struggled with his addiction to cocaine and heroin for decades, said in an interview with the magazine Mojo that still use drugs.
"I smoke marijuana regularly in the morning . It's something strictly Californian "said English musician, 71.
The British newspaper The Telegraph notes that the artist praised the laws of some parts of the US, where he was decriminalized the use of cannabis.
"One of the nicest things to see on the map of USA, is where it starts to afford the green , green and green. Not sure if that, in the long term, be a good thing, "he said.
The rocker, who has been married to former model Patti Hansen , who has two daughters, since 1983 he declared in 2010 that he had renounced "all" after a life of excess, and was much happier for it.
As for the music, Richards said he hoped to return with the Rolling Stones after the publication of his latest solo album, Crosseyed Heart , which will be released on September 18.
Apparently, the veteran band back to a recording studio in late 2015.
