Iran’s Fashion Models

Security forces arrested seven fashion models in late January, according to unconfirmed reports on social media. Six of the seven arrested were women, and all had posted photographs of themselves not wearing hijab on their Instagram pages. On February 2, there were reports that more models had been arrested, though these arrests are also unconfirmed.
The models have been named as Melikaa Zamani, Niloofar Behboudi, Donya Moghadam, Dana Nik, Shabnam Molavi, Elnaz Golrokh and Hamid Fadaei.

Authorities and family members of the models have not confirmed or denied the arrests, which were thought to have taken place about a week ago. Two of the models, married couple Elnaz Golrokh and Hamid Fadaei, were allegedly released a few days ago and fled the country on January 30.

All seven have been very active on social media, including Instagram. Although the arrests could be linked directly to the photographs they posted, there has also been speculation that their sheer popularity online has angered authorities.

Elnaz Golrokh and Hamid Fadaei

The Instagram pages of Elnaz Golrokh and Hamid Fadaei are currently still online. There have been a string of comments on their pages over the past week, many of them asking why they had taken down certain photographs, and why they had not uploaded any new posts.

In addition to working as a model, Elnaz Golrokh is a beautician who runs a popular salon in northern Iran. More than 500,000 people follow her on Instagram. Hamid Fadaei is one of Iran’s most famous male models, and works for the Iranian apparel company Fila. He has over 100,000 fans on Instagram.

Kylie Jenner splits Tyga

Tyga and Kylie are said to have split for good this time, TMZ reports…..This is how TMZ reports it:

Kylie and Tyga are finished ... dunzo ... for good-zo. Sources connected to theformer couple tell TMZ ... it happened days before the Met Ball last week. They were both at the gala, but they did not walk the red carpet together, and that was her decision.

As for why ... everyone's being tight-lipped, but we do know this. Tyga took his mom and a model to Mother's Day lunch ... and he's not telling his friends whether she's his new GF.
We also know this ... the breakup was acrimonious. We're told Kylie was bent out of shape that Tyga had the nerve to go to the Met Ball. He was only invited because of her, and she's mad at herself that she didn't think to have him made persona non grata.

Models arrested in Iran for posting photos of themselves online without headscarves

Popular Arab model, Elham Arab, known for her wedding-dress portraits, was interrogated on camera at the Iranian Revolutionary Court with her blonde hair hidden under a black chador.

She was charged with 'promoting western promiscuity' and forced to give public 'self-criticism.' 'All people love beauty and fame,' Arab said. 'They would like to be seen, but it is important to know what price they will pay to be seen.'

Person of Interest will end its fifth season with possibilities for a sixth

Person of Interest  today debuts Tuesday , May 3 its fifth and final season on  CBS.
The actors and makers of the series made it clear that the series will bid farewell with a closed end, this does not mean that he could not revive with a sixth at some point.
The portal  IGN  interviewed  Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman  producers of the show, asked whether to write the fifth season knew it was going to be the last, or else they decided to take the frame to the end without knowing what would be the series.
Jonathan Nolan  replied: "One of the great advantages for me with this show, was able to work for five years with the great Greg Plageman, who knew far more than I do about the television business when we started. And it has been an incredible partner for me from the beginning .So when we got to this point, Greg, as he has done often in recent years, had set out for me. You know, I've been in the movie business, which is very different in many respects. In the television business, you have to read a little more prepared sheets. It is not always so straightforward. And Greg and I deduced that it was probably the end of the road. So instead of trying to cover our bets, or think for a possible sixth season, we decided to land the plane. And do it in such a way that if CBS and Warner want us, they could pick up the story and its implementation. So it is not a cataclysm at the end. But it is ending story. "
Greg Plageman  meanwhile clarified: "Once we saw the small episode order was taken as the writing on the wall, really. And instead of writing some rare termination without knowing if the series would return with more episodes, we think of a twist and give a satisfactory end. You do think so exciting and explosive as we could. And then we'll drop the microphone. And then away from it. And then one day, who knows? "
