Julio Iglesias Jr. surprises when talking about Enrique Iglesias and his new nephew: "He is happy in his world with his children"

It is no secret to anyone that, as far as his personal life is concerned, Enrique Iglesias prefers to be reserved. That is why any update about his family facet does not go unnoticed, as has happened now that his older brother has shared some details about it. Julio Iglesias Jr. talked about his role as an uncle after his brother welcomed his fourth child. In addition, the singer and businessman has spoken about his father, Julio Iglesias, after the Prosecutor's Office filed the complaint against Julio Iglesias for lack of competition.

"I'm very happy"

Julio José gave an interview to Despierta América of the Univision channel, from the United States, after his concert at the St. George Theatre, in Staten Island, New York, this February 27.

This show became the best birthday celebration of the singer, who turned 53 two days before the recital. "I loved it. The truth is that the fact of being able to come here, of being able to make these songs that are good, singing these songs that I carry, the blood that I have been listening to all my life, is wonderful for me, I am very happy," he said.

Julio José Iglesias was asked about his facet as an uncle, following the birth of Enrique and Anna Kournikova's new baby last December. "Yes, we were few and grandma gave birth," he said laughing. Then, in a slightly more serious tone, he spoke of his brother's fullness with the growth of his family: "My brother is happy, he is very happy, he is in his world with his children and the truth is that they are wonderful."

On December 22, Anna and Enrique announced the birth of their baby a few days earlier. "My Sunshine 12.17.2025," wrote the former Russian tennis player when sharing the first photo of her baby on her social networks. And shortly after Christmas, the singer's wife published a family postcard again, this time with her four children: Lucy, Nicholas and Mary posed with the newborn baby, provoking affection among the couple's followers and fans. The family's publications surprised more than one, given the discretion to which they have accustomed us.

Julio Iglesias Jr. expresses his support and admiration for his father

In his interview with the morning program of Univision, Julio Iglesias Jr. commented on his concert where he took the opportunity to make a musical tribute to his father, performing some of his hits: "My father has always told me that I was going to end up singing those songs as beautiful as Momentos, Hey, Abrázame, Me Olvidé de Vivir... are songs that I grew up listening to," he shared. "So the fact that now my 53 years can sing them and defend them in that way, especially when I have heard them 85 thousand times, I love it, I love doing what I do," he added.

Regarding the complicated moments that Julio Iglesias lived as a result of the strong accusations that were recently made against him and whose complaint was filed, his son did not hesitate to support him: "My father is happy. My father is an incredible person, he is a great father and the truth is that he is a wonderful person," he said. "My father is the champion, the one who has led a wonderful life, the one who knows how to do everything he does, and everything he does he does very well and that is the most important thing and I love him very much and he already knows it," added the singer and businessman.
