We knew it was a different space, a hybrid concept that unites four-star hotel rooms, short- and long-stay accommodation, and space for coworking, but we have also found out that The Social Hub has what they call membership, which includes a monthly subscription (starting at €99 ) and gives you access to the three rooftops (bar, pool and solarium), gym, video game room, restaurant, cafeteria and play room. In the two The Social Hubs in Spain (you have them in Madrid and Barcelona) and in all the rest of Europe, which you can visit knowing that you have your home there.
Okay, this membership thing is not even remotely a new concept, but after knowing – and enjoying – the version of The Social Hub hotel, the coworking and the 'epicenter of cultural events', we found out about that we can be members of a club to which so many want to belong is like uncovering the jar of the essences of a concept that is breaking it wherever it opens new complexes (currently there are already in Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Holland...).
Specifically, The Social Hub of Madrid has an advantage, mainly because it is located in the capital's new golden triangle (Gran Vía, Plaza of Spain and Royal Palace), just occupying the old building that housed the Rivadeneyra printing press and of which, currently and on the outside, 'even the walkways' are preserved. Another thing is the interior: apart from the common spaces, 330 rooms await guests, who can find short- and long-term accommodation available.
The latter are designed for people who are in transit in the city and need a place to stay for a period that, in the case in question, ranges from two weeks to a year. But it is not just any accommodation, because the 148 rooms designed for clients requiring a long stay are comfortable and spacious at the same time. a>
For the most demanding guests, 14 studios have also been designed that include a king-size bed, private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine , weekly cleaning and change of bed linen, reserved work spaces in common areas and access to bikes (yes, The Social Hub makes them available to its guests). Likewise, it includes access to the Communal Kitchen which, as its name indicates, becomes the meeting point of that “community” that, inevitably, , is created around The Social Hub.
Why do we like this membership thing so much? Because apart from making you feel like you belong to a different and dynamic club, it allows you access to work in any common area (ideal for those who always carry the office with them), the access that we already mentioned to the < a i=1>rooftops, all ideal for an afterwork and 20% discount in the restaurant spaces, which They include a cafeteria, a restaurant (they have a buffet lunch at noon) and a terrace bar specializing in cocktails.
And this is just the basis, because the cultural programming that The Social Hub offers is a 10 and does not neglect art, nor music, nor writing, nor digital creation. A very composed agenda to which you will have free access if you join this club of which we want to be a part now.
