Among the people who have spoken on the stage of the Women's March in Washington - the largest of 672 demonstrations against the new US president Donald Trump held yesterday throughout the world - there was Madonna. The end of his speech was one of the most filmed moments and discussed among the things he said during the event, which was attended by more than half a million people. Madonna said:
"We walk together in this march through the dark and with every step we know that we are not afraid, that we are not alone, that we will not give up, that there is power in our unit and that no other force can do it against the true solidarity. And for our detractors who insist that this event will have no effect: fuck you. "
