Supergirl would move filming to Vancouver to reduce costs and have a second season

The creators of the series  Supergirl  are considering all possible options to follow on television.
The series of  CBS  made news  yesterday  when it said it could actually have a second season although this could mean a change of chain  The CW.  Now also adds that in order to reduce production costs, would move filming to  Vancouver (Canada).
Apparently already they have been producieron the first talks of those responsible for the series with the main cast and although the news is not sitting too well, seems to be the only solution to adjust the budget and to produce a new season.
The first season was filmed in  California,  where film and television have tax incentives, but the truth is that the series could not benefit from such a large amount as expected so that  Greg Berlanti,  producer of the series and the rest pensan its partners in bringing the shoot to  Vancouver  city that fact and its other series are filmed  DC Comics for the CW: Arrow, the Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
At the moment there is nothing confirmed since  CBS  must announce whether or not to renew the series in the coming days, albeit with a reduced number of episodes. Otherwise the series is already being tempted by other networks and platforms, but everyone in the production seems to be clear that  The CW  whom the stay.
CBS  should not only decide on the future of Supergirl, also must do with  Limitless, Code Black, Criminal Minds. Beyond Borders and Rush Hour  Of these, the last  Rush Hour,  could be the only one not renew so that the superheroine series remains in the interest of the chain. The answer we will know before the "upfronts" the chain celebrated on May 18.
