Robert Kirkman apologizes for the end of the sixth season of The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead  ended several weeks ago his sixth season leaving a great discontent in most of his followers.
The creator  Robert Kirkman , talk about what was in the final moments of their last episode  "Last Day on Earth ".
The creator of comics and responsible for the series of  AMC  has written a letter apologizing to the fans for what he saw with  Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan),  but on the other hand tries to justify why they did it .
In a published letter next to the number 154 of the comic, which went on sale Wednesday in series  United States, Kirkman  talks about the cliffhanger that displeased many fans as the series dismissed the season without revealing whom he had killed  Negan .
"Okay, the end of the sixth season has certainly caused a furor on the Internet. Everyone is talking about it. Some people loved it, others are indifferent and others hate it, (but) we were not trying to play with the audience, we were trying to drive them crazy and certainly we were not trying to force them to return for the seventh season " indicates Kirkman at the beginning of the letter.
"We wanted to talk (of the series). And they're talking, "said the writer and producer.
The creator of  The Walking Dead  recognizes that has angered fans but also makes it clear they never intended to frustrate followers, but only "be on their heads and give them something to talk about" after six seasons.
"Everyone on the team of The Walking Dead wanted to do something cool. We wanted to do something different and we did to turn things around, get people excited and keep the show on their heads, "argues the writer
In this line, said a clear "sorry" to the fans who feel that The Walking Dead "failed" in this attempt, but to justify what happened, says the seventh season "will be impressive."
"The only thing I can promise is that the premiere of season 7 will be impressive. When you see (the end of the sixth season and the start of the seventh) as a two-part episode (...) is quite impressive ", he said before adding that only then be understood every minute of the outcome of the sixth installment.
"It's a great episode ... and remember that there is much more to do with Negan. You are afraid, very afraid and enthusiasm, "he added.
In the same letter,  Robert Kirkman  said the cliffhanger is allowing fans to keep hope before losing a beloved character. He also said that the same fans are having fun with theories about the identity of the victim of  Negan .
