The BBC announces that The Musketeers came to an end in the third season

The network  BBC   announced that the adventure series " The Musketeers" will  end with its third season, whose premiere is scheduled for the coming months.
A spokesman for the  BBC  confirmed that the upcoming third season of the drama starring  Luke Pasqualino, Tom Burke, Santiago Cabrera and Howard Charles  will be final. It also will see  Rupert Everett as Philippe Achilles, Marquis de Feron,  the corrupt governor of  Paris, Head of the Red Guard and the illegitimate brother of Louis XIII.

"Season 3 of The Musketeets complete this series of 30 hours with ambition and energy , " he said executive producer of  BBC Jess Pope  has also promised that the last batch of episodes "will be a treat for the fans."
"It's full of action and adventure, fun and drama from the first few seconds of opening of each episode until the end," he said. "It's a season that will delight fans and justify everything they've come to love about the show. Larger in scale and more serialized than before, it has been a real privilege and a joy to produce a fabulous piece of entertainment for the BBC ".
The stars of the series, have also shared their memories and wanted to pay tribute to the fans, with a series of statements.
"Three Musketeers seasons have been an authentic, action -packed adventure in every sense of the term. The world of Dumas, these rich characters, and many of the friendships made ​​along the way will be lost , "said  Cabrera . "A big thank you to the fans of the series, which are what kept us strong. I hope you enjoy this third and final season as much as the first two. Their support has been wonderful. Charles  stated: "The Muskeeteers - a really wonderful memorable experience, a challenge and enlightening for three seasons These characters never stop educating ourselves on the notion of Liberty, Fraternity and Equality They will live forever in our hearts and minds ... A huge thanks to our old and new fans, I hope you enjoy the last season. Your loyalty and support is not lost on us. All for one … "
Pasqualino  said he was sad to see the show come to an end, but described his work in the series as "truly an amazing experience that will live with me forever. I had the most amazing to explore this beautiful world with people even more beautiful experience. "
And  Burke  paid tribute to the writers of the series,  Simon Ashford and Simon Allen:  " It was exciting to see   Ashford and Allen,  remain true to the characters and the setting so brilliantly molded by Adrian Hodges and at the same time make the show really own" .
