Elizabeth Banks is as Rita Repulse - Power Rangers

After becoming the eccentric Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games , Elizabeth Banks again hiding behind the makeup and costumes becoming the redoubtable Rita Repulse, the villain par excellence of the Power Rangers. The actress appears almost unrecognizable in this first image published by EW.

Undoubtedly this is a very different version of the classic Rita we saw in the 90s in the series of Power Rangers , originally played by Machiko Soga. On this occasion it carries a more alien look, with marked facial features and hair and clothing so green that looks like something out of a world of dragons.

" It is definitely a more modern and transcendent version of Rita Original Repulse " confessed Banks magazine People. " We wanted to give a story that will connect with new Rangers".

And ten thousand years later, it seems that the galactic witch still wants to conquer the earth. " I never interpreted a villain, still less an alien warrior , " added the actress. Power Rangers hit theaters in March 2017.
