Hannibal producer blames illegal downloads of the cancellation of the series

NBC canceled Hannibal in 2015 after three seasons in which despite good reviews, audiences were not so good.
The series  Hannibal  was canceled without any chain or attempt to revive online portal, its executive producer  Martha De Laurentiis  blame the hackers of being responsible for the death of the series.
Speaking to  Collider  De Laurentiis  said: "When NBC decided not to renew Hannibal for a fourth season, a series in which I worked as an executive producer, there was not much thinking to connect your destination with the fact that it was the fifth series most downloaded in 2013.
When nearly a third of the audience of Hannibal comes from pirate sites, despite the fact that a legitimate download each episode was available the next day, you have to know to make a mathematical calculation. If a program is stolen, it makes it difficult, if not impossible, to fairly compensate a team and have a production series.
"The pirates killed" Hannibal "? Unfortunately, this is a cliffhanger that could last for a while. With more than 2 million viewers watching our show illegally, it is difficult not to think that online pirates were at least partly responsible for hundreds of team members lose their jobs and millions of fans who watched the program legitimately are mourning the death of a beloved series "judgment producer.
