On April 9 will come to the US and will air on Starz, the second season of the series Outlander .
Based on the best-selling Diana Gabaldon and executive produced by Ronald D. Moore, Outlander is transported to the century XVIII to tell the fascinating story of Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe, "Now You See Me," "Escape Plan") , a military nurse who in 1945 married Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies, "Casino Royale"), an intellectual and former spy of the British Intelligence Service, which mysteriously after his marriage, travels to 1743 where forced to marry Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan, "Heart of Lightness"), a young and gallant Scottish warrior.
Composed of thirteen one-hour episodes, the second season of Outlander starts with the arrival of Claire and Jamie to France in the middle of the Jacobin Revolution. With the help of his cousin Jared (Robert Cavanah, "AB Negative"), marriage Fraser is introduced to the sumptuous life of French society, in which the holidays as much political intrigue abound.
