Wolf Hall renewed for a second season which will air in 2018

Wolf Hall -  miniseries of  BBC Two, starring  Damien Lewis,  just renewed for a second season which will be in 2018 .
Speaking to  Radio Times, Peter Kosminsky  noted that the saga in which the series is based will be delayed and thus the new season. Apparently, the third book of the author  Hilary Mantel  - tentatively called  The Mirror and light  - will not be finished in 2016, so that the television historical drama can not release his second season until 2018 "at the earliest".
"She still has at least one year of writing the novel and we need to get adapt so we have to take quite a while, and it will probably be quite a thick book. It will not be something short term. At least it will be two years I think, "  said the director.
"Getting bring the team back together is a challenge,"  he added "First we have to get  Peter Straughan  adapter is available, and we have to get the stars  Damian Lewis and Mark Rylance  are in the studio at the same time. Both are international superstars now so it will be a challenge, but we will do it. "
Having seen a preview of 8 pages of the new book  Kosminsky  added: "What's special is that dramatizes the short time between the death of  Anne Boleyn  and the death of  Cromwell .She goes back in time, go to memory, the previous parts of the life of  Cromwell , so it will not be predictable in any way. "
The book series and miniseries chronicles the meteoric rise of Thomas Cromwell  in the court of the  Tudor, from its humble beginnings as the son of a blacksmith to become the closest adviser  Henry VIII.
