MARVEL"s "Agent Carter" - Whitney Frost and Peggy"s New Ally [VIDEO]

This week’s episode of MARVEL’s “Agent Carter” while being enjoyable at the same time, definitely raised the stakes of the game for Strategic Scientific Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and her team, which made her realize that they’ll probably need a little more help in order to stop Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett). Meanwhile, Whitney is getting more and more powerful, so much so, that even Everett has admitted that her Madame Masque is quote complex and interesting.

This article will contain spoilers for “The Atomic Job”, “The Life of the Party” and “Monsters”.

In this week’s episode, fans and viewers were treated to several game changers that not only will impact Strategic Scientific Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) in their fight against Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett), but also had ramifications in the personal lives of both Peggy and Chief Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj).

First off, this episode saw Peggy facing off with Whitney, as Peggy tried to stop Whitney from finding an atomic bomb that would allow her to recreate the original Zero Matter experiment. Due to this, Peggy ended up falling from the ledge of one of the building’s floors, and got impaled by a metal rebar, which Sousa’s fiancée, Violet (Sarah Bolger), did her best to mend.

However, after Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy) took her back to the Stark Mansion, Violet realized that Sousa really loved Peggy, and Sousa was left without words, as what Violet said was true. Later that night, Peggy and Dr. Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin) bonded, only for the Zero Matter to completely swallow him up.

Here, in this episode, viewers and fans finally saw what a big threat Whitney truly is.

According to a recent interview that Wynn Everett had with Comic Book Resources, she told them that as of the moment, Whitney is horrified by what she can do, but at the same time, the Zero Matter is giving her a confidence that she used to just fake, and she is also very much fascinated with what Zero Matter can do.

She stated that Whitney truly does believe that honing Zero Matter will help save the world, and will also her to get the recognition that she has so long craved for, as life was never easy for her as her smarts and skills were never really something that people praised her for.

Right now, she’s determined, and is on a mission, and not even her husband, who does truly love her, can stop her.

She also mentioned that Joseph Manfredi (Ken Marino), the mob boss that viewers met in this episode is an interesting foil to Currie Graham’s Calvin Chadwick.

Joseph just adores Whitney, and is actually the head of the Maggia, a faction of the mob who has deep ties in the MARVEL comic book universe, and especially with the Madame Masque character.

However, the fun will not just end there, as it turns out that next week’s outing of “Agent Carter” will be a two hour event.

According to Comic Book Resources, which also released a promotional trailer for the two episodes, Peggy and Jarvis will be reaching out to an old foe, and will be organizing a rescue mission, while Whitney gets more and more powerful in the background.

According to the teaser trailer, the pair will be reaching out to Russian spy Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan), who will be having a field day watching Peggy give away the fact that there are some elements in this fight against Whitney that she is scared of.

Aside from this, fans and viewers will be seeing Dottie in a new light, especially as her blonde locks will be dyed dark brown in order to accompany Jarvis and Peggy to a party where Whitney and her husband will be at.
