First trailer for Queen of the South, American adaptation of La Reina del Sur

USA Network  released shortly  Queen of th South,  American version of the book by  Arturo Perez-Reverte La Reina del Sur, and released the first trailer.

Adaptation has 13 episodes produced by  Fox TV Studios 21(continued from  Fox TV Studios ), in co-production with Universal Cable Prods.

Queen Of The South  tells the story of  Teresa Mendoza (Alice Braga). When her boyfriend, drug dealer, was killed unexpectedly in  Mexico, Teresa  is forced to go away from where he tries to overthrow the leader of the drug ring from which He is fleeing. In the process, it will develop to become the leader of the cartel. The series also born from the soap opera of the same title and issued Telemundo in 2011 with great success.

MA Fortin and Joshua John Miller ( The Final Girls )  are authors of the series and will be executive producers David Friendly (Little Miss Sunshine) and Pancho Mansfield (Damien). Charlotte Sieling directed the pilot.
