Kevin Bacon stars in the television remake of Tremors

Kevin Bacon returns to television after starring in The Following.
The actor will now be in front of the television remake of Tremors,  film in which he starred in 1990.
Bacon  will also be protagonist, producer of the series in which you will return to the stage was shown in the film,  Perfection, Nevada.  The actor will reprise his role of  Valentine McKee.
Note that earlier this year, the actor expressed his interest in returning to the franchise. In an interview in January he said: "I would love to do more with 'Tremors' and revisit the character 25 years later. Part of the good thing about the movie is that there is almost no digital effects. Hacieron monsters with puppets, and still works, it's fun and scary is a cool accomplishment. "
In the series, as in the movie, the desert town where the protagonist lives will be attacked by giant worms murderers.
Tremors  had a couple of sequels and even a series that aired in 2003 by Sci-Fi Channel was led by Michael Gross.
Universal Cable Productions and Blumhouse Productions  are developing the project with Andrew Miller as a screenwriter. The series does not have channel but has several stakeholders as EW.
