Jean-Claude Van Damme will star in a series produced by Ridley Scott

Ridley Scott announced that prepares a comedy with action hero in the 90, Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Among the new series developed by  Scott Free, three for CBS, two for AMC  is also  Jean Claude Van Johnson , comedy with Jean-Claude Van Damme  and starring Scott stated that according to  Deadline  displayed on the "movie star and martial arts in a new light that will surprise the fans. "

In the series written and produced by  Dave Callahan, Van Damme will play Jean-Claude Van Damme, a star of martial arts movies and operating under the alias "Johnson," the world's most dangerous undercover private contractor.

Along with this series, which has not yet assigned channel, Scott Free  prepared based on the life and career of drama  Sunny Hostin, written by Elle Johnson,  Sensory , based on the medical drama   Dr. Joel Salinas, written by David Zabel, and police comedy TJ Fixman Rubber Guns and Scott Gemmill.

Besides the production prepares for months,  The Terror futuristic drama adaptation of the book of  Dan Simmons and Marvel,  based on the history of con-founder of  Jet Propulsion Laboratory Jack Parsons. Both series are developed for AMC.
