An Arabic adaptation of the hit television series Fox Prison Break will begin shooting next year with the Tunisian player Dhafer L'Abidine (Sex and the City 2).
L'Abidine (photo top right of Miller) is a former professional football player and an Arab international star. He gained prominence in Tunisia for its role of Dali in the popular television series Maktoub , and is known in Egypt and the Middle East for his work in series like Niran Sadiqa (Friendly Fire) issued by Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC) and Egyptian social drama Fark Taoukit. Dhafer also presented a version of the program The Cube television to Dubai.
Headquartered in London, L'Abidine also participated in several British series like Spooks, Strike Back and Wallender well as the Transporter series.
"I am very happy to be part of the Arabic version of a series of exciting and classic TV," he said enthusiastically actor in a statement.
Based on the story of the original, the remake of Arab Prison Break is being produced by Fadi Fahim and has the Egyptian director Hussein Menbawy . The series will be broadcast on OSN, chain based in Dubai which is the most-watched broadcasts of payment.
Arab Prison Break is not the first adaptation that has the series already had a version in Russia, released in 2010 and also we should not forget that FOX announced a "renaissance" of the original, recounting with Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as protagonists.
