A new promo for The X-Files was released before its release in January on FOX .
Beside the promo has also launched a new poster and in the character of "smoking man", one of the most popular and iconic within the series appears.
In addition to a vision of Mulder and Scully back in action, fans have a chance to see the new promo to a strange girl brushing her hair, a man whose skin is peeling and two bodies dragged into a dark room.
Duchovny, Anderson and Stan joined by new cast member Joel McHale as Tad O'Malley, a presenter of a talk that becomes an unlikely ally for conservative Mulder. Along with Scully, they are investigating the curious case of a possible alien abduction, involving Annet Mahendru (The Americans).
Other original stars return for the new season and among them we have to Annabeth Gish (Monica Reyes), Mitch Pileggi (Walter Skinner), William B. Davis (The Smoking Man), Dean Haglund (Langly), Tom Braidwood (Frohike) and Bruce Harwood (Byers).
The series of events of six episodes will be launched with a premiere two nights Sunday, January 24 and Monday, January 25 by the chain FOX.
