Winona Ryder confirmed the second part of Beetlejuice
Monday in the Late Night with Seth Meyers , Winona Ryder confirmed the highly anticipated sequel to Beetlejuice, the classic Tim Burton released in 1988 with Michael Keaton , Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis as protagonists.
Asked by Meyers, the actress said "I think I can confirm that," after listening to Tim Burton stating in an interview that "yes, we are making and Winona will be in it."
After 27 years, Ryder will step into the shoes of Lydia Deetz .
In 2014, Tim Burton and Michael Keaton revealed that plans were underway Beetlejuice 2. Finally, after many twists and turns, its members confirm the news.
"I have sent emails to Tim a few times, talked a few times with the writer, but all things are very, very preliminary " said the actor who played Beetlejuice MTV in 2014.
"I have always said that is the only thing I'd do it again" , he said putting a condition that Tim Burton is involved in the project.
In December, Tim Burton added that "there is no script, but I'd love to do it again. I miss that character. There is something cathartic and amazing about it. I think it's closer than ever," said the filmmaker this time .
