Fishes are 'bite testicles' in America

(Spanish CNN) -   A fisherman in New Jersey this weekend caught a strange fish with big teeth resemble those of humans.
It is a fish Pacu, a relative of the piranha and is known as the 'bite testicles'. The strange thing about this discovery is that the animal is native to the Amazon.

According to the Department of Environmental Protection United States, people often have these fish as pets. When the animal grows too-in their natural environment they can reach 0.9 meters long and weigh about 25 kilos their owners released into lakes and rivers.

The Pacu fish has powerful jaws.

"Many times people will leave these fish in the lakes. But animals do not survive in cold water, so we recommend to owners who do not loose in the lakes but destroy them in the most humane way possible," he said the company said in a statement.

Despite their frightening appearance and its bad reputation, Pacú usually not attack humans. His nickname came from a media disinformation that ensured that the animal could bite human genitals. This after a fisherman in 2013 in Denmark found a copy of Pacú in a lake in the country.
