Cast and official synopsis of 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter'

The adventure of Alice Abernathy (Milla Jovovich) in an apocalyptic world comes to an end.

 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' is the sixth and final film in the series that adapts the hit video game. Sony has revealed the official synopsis and cast closed the last delivery of the project by Paul WS Anderson.

The project, which also signs the writer-director  Paul WS Anderson , began shooting in South Africa, between Cape Town and Johannesburg, and history  will resume where it left off the previous  ('Resident Evil: Revenge'), with  the future of threatening mankind  and the few survivors of the apocalypse gathering strength for one last battle in the most difficult mission of Alice (Jovovich).

"In a battle against time, Alice will join forces with old friends and unexpected ally in a fierce battle against the undead hours and new mutant monsters. Having lost their superhuman abilities and with the imminent attack of 'Umbrella' this will be the most difficult adventure of Alice trying to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion. "

The final film of 'Resident Evil' will be released on  January 27, 2017.
